PERSONAL | CHRISTMAS IN PRAGUE

Merry Christmas!! Oh fuck.. Christmas was last week. I'm sorry guys, I've been so busy lately.

I've spent the Christmas days in Prague with friends and family. It was amazing and the city is magical.

But I really have te feeling that I've skipped Christmas, because we normally celebrate this holiday at home.

I had a lot of fun though (and a lot of beer and food..), so that's the only thing that counts.

PERSONAL | CHRISTMAS MARKETS

Oh, how I love Christmas markets! If you're still not into the Christmas spirit, you really should visit a Christmas market. I have to admit, I have never been to one until yesterday. Me, my best friend and my parents went to Aachen in Germany and I really enjoyed it. Besides the sales of many handmade items, Christmas markets also offer delicious food and ofcourse.. Glühwein. 

After we ate a typical German Bratwurst, drank some Glühwein and bought delicious gingerbread cookies, we went to Maastricht where we had lunch (more food pff...). Unlike Aachen, all the stores were open in Maastricht so we also went shopping.

OUTFIT | COLOR BOMB

Just bought this great, fantastic, colourful cardigan yesterday, and obviously I couldn't wait to wear it.

I'm kinda in a hurry so there won't be many words in this post, just pictures.

I've combined this colourful piece of clothing, with a basic black t-shirt and my fav jeans. I also found these earrings, which I forgot I had, but they actually match very well with the cardigan, just like my red heart-shaped ring. And with that, a little bit of red lipstick and tada!!! Ready to go.

Bonjour! I've always wanted to go Marrakech, so when my parents announced that they were actually going, I was extremely jealous. I was amazed by some of their stories they told me about their little trip. 

My parents also got me a few gifts, which I think are representative for the Moroccan fashion.

OUTFIT | THE BASICS

The basics - It's always important to have some basic items in your closet. You can combine them with extraordinary pieces, or simply because you don't feel like dressing up. When I go shopping, like yesterday, I just want to wear an outfit that is comfortable, simple and easy to take off. Because if there's one thing I absolutely hate about shopping, it is to try and fit different clothes on. Taking clothes off, trying some new clothes on etc etc. That's why I chose for my favorite jeans, a comfortable jumper and a denim jacket because I hate to wear a coat during shopping. In other words, a nice casual outfit to wear.

Hi again. I haven't been blogging for the last three weeks and it was killing me. In the beginning of October, I received an e-mail from Google Webmaster that my blog was infected with malware. Oh hell no, I didn't sign up for that!! I'm not so good with computers and technical stuff, so I didn't really know what to do. I've deleted several things from my blog, asked my followers on Twitter if they could help me out and now it's finally gone. My blog is "healthy" again!!

OUTFIT | THE WHITE SUMMER DRESS

I'm sorry for not blogging. I was on a mini-holiday during my stay in Singapore. Me and my family went to
Rawa Island in Malaysia. It was magical. I've never been to a place so beautiful as Rawa. There were white sandy beaches, turquoise blue water, clear blue sky and a beautiful underwater world. This dress fits perfectly with the white sandy beaches and sunset, don't you think?

NEW IN | THE SKULL TOP

The new skull top - I bought this lovely piece of clothing yesterday and I love it. Even though the skull represents a 'cool' image, the top looks very cute. The flowers and leafs creates this cute look. I think that makes it more easy to combine it. OUTFIT | THE TOURIST IN SINGAPORE

So here I am, at the other side of the world, enjoying life to the fullest. It's great to be with my dad again, I missed him so much. This city is so amazingly beautiful. Today I went to the Shoppers at Marina Bay Sands, where I bought a gorgeous top from Armani which I will show you later in another post. OUTFIT | NEON AZTEC

As I am writing this post, it only takes one more day, 15 hours and 5 minutes before I leave this little town and go the the airport. Final destination: Singapore it is. I told it before, my dad moved to this great city 2 months ago, so I'm finally going to visit him.
The weather in the Netherlands is finally like how it's supposed to be; sunny and hot. So I can finally wear my colorful clothes.
Today and tomorrow are stressful days. At home, we have to clean the house, buy stuff for our 'vacation', pack our luggage etc etc. So I decided to wear something simple today.

So, the orange blazer. I love this one; the color, the design, it's just perfect! I find this blazer very classy, so I thought it would be nice to combine it with a pair of jeans. I stole this orange piece of heaven from my moms closet. She bought it for herself, but it's too small for her so ofcourse, I'm happy to take it over from her. Thanks mom!

last week I had to work for Sony Mobile at a Dutch tennis tournament called 'Unicef Open'. Basically all I had to do was approaching people and promoting the new Xperia smartphones from Sony Mobile.
Our stand was right next to the stand of Oriflame. Oriflame is an international beauty company from Sweden, which sells their products in more than 60 countries worldwide.
I already had some products from this brand, that I was satisfied about. At the end of our last working day, the girls from Oriflame said that me and my colleague could pick out anything we want from what was left over. Well, that's not a problem for me!

PERSONAL | ALMOST SUMMER

It's unbelievable how fast a year goes by. This week was all about the last classes of the year, assignments, deadlines, literature for the exams etc etc. The summer break is very close now. And because I'm so busy these days (also today because I have to work), I treated myself with a homemade smoothie.

 I also had a very tough week because my dad moved to Singapore last Monday, for 4 months. I miss him already. Luckily, I'm going to visit him this summer with my mom and brother. Saying goodbye to him, was one of the hardest things I've had to do.

Hello sunshines, our prayers have been answered. The weather is great in the Netherlands, finally!!!!!

Here a little diary post about last week. I'm studying in Utrecht for almost a year now and I still don't really know the city itself. My classmate Yvette had that same feeling, so we decided that we have to give Utrecht a chance. And with this intention, we went to the city center for a delicious lunch with some wine. When I came home, my new H&M pants arrived. I love it! The print, the colors and it's sooo comfortable! Oh and the last picture are the delicious macaroons I've bought from the cutest shop ever in Utrecht.

I bought a new nail polish yesterday and I just couldn't wait to paint my nails with this lovely color. I can't get enough of all the cute colors this spring/summer, whether it's pastel, bright or neon, I love it! And don't you just love this ring? I bought it when I was in Antwerp, at River Island.

Yessss it's time for another outfit-post again. And although it's supposed to be spring by now.. the weather is still quite disappointing. It looks more like it's Autumn, but well.. I think every Dutchie is pretty used to that. The only thing is that this weather doesn't really motivates you to dress up. I just want to put my big, comfortable sweater on but no no.. Let's add some pastels to my outfit!

NEW IN | NIKE AIRMAX 1

"What were you thinking?" is what all my friends asked me after I bought these pair of Nikes. Well actually, I don't really have an answer on that question but I just wanted them so badly. My friends do have a point though, this represents a style which isn't quite mine. I used to dislike Airmax, but I guess your style can change, right?  Oh and they are extremely comfortable, so that's a definite plus. What do you think of my new Nikes?

When I woke up last Saturday, I looked outside my window and our whole garden was white. Such a beautiful picture!! So after breakfast, me and my dad went to the nature area called 'Biesbosch', to take some great shots with our cameras. These are a few photographs that were taken that morning. Awesome, isn't it? The world looks more peaceful when it's covered in snow.

I was invited for the fashion show of Elise Kim at Amsterdam Fashion Week. The evening started with a lecture of Kevin Roberts, worldwide CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi, about The Lovemarks and it was quite interesting. After that, Grazia, who sponsored the show, presented Elise Kim and the fashion show began.

It was the first fashion show I ever attended and it was a great experience. There was an amazing difference between the fabrics and the colors in the collection of Elise Kim. The show itself was very basic and simple with the choice of music and lights. I chose to wear a black dress with purple sleeves from ZARA. Click for more if you want to see the pictures!
